What Is The .Net Framework? Why Do I Need It?
In order to run our products you need to download the Microsoft .Net Framework (version 2.0 minimum) redistributable package, this is because our products are written under the next generation .Net platform, which is taking the software industry by storm. The .Net Framework contains all of the logic required to run any program written for the platform.
How Do I Know If I Already Have It?
Most modern computers running Windows XP are likely to have an earlier version (1.0 or 1.1) of the .Net Framework Installed as default, but they will need to upgrade to a minimum of version 2.0 in order to run our products.
If you are lucky enough to have the new version of Windows, Windows Vista, you don't have to install anything as it has an even newer version, version 3.0, installed as default.
By default, the installer that installs our products onto your computer when you download them, will automatically check to see if you have the required version of the .Net Framework installed on your machine, and will alert you you need to install it.
